WELCOME TO CASA DA RIA FORMOSA.
Location

Casa da Ria Formosa is located in the Ria Formosa Natural Park, a redeveloped riverside area, with a walkway and small bird observatories.

 

A 15-minute walk from the city center and the historic center of Faro (Cidade Velha), it makes its location a truly magical space. Surrounded by a small cluster of family houses, it has its origins in a fishing district.

 

Here you will find the special flavor of grilled fish, in one of the famous and most typical restaurants in Faro - Peixe Assado Moinhos do Grelha -, with 4 stars on Tripadviser

Accommodations

The house is a simple space, very welcoming and filled with the essentials for a comfortable stay, with a view and direct access to the Ria Formosa.

 

Entrance is via the riverside park walkway that extends into the Casa da Ria Formosa area. It is spread over two floors and on the ground floor we have the living room with kitchenette, equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, bedroom with double bed and bathroom with shower.

 

On the upper floor there is an open space where you will find two single beds, a bathroom and a terrace. 

 

A living frame for the horizon of the Ria makes this terrace one of the most special places to admire the sunset in the Ria de Faro 

Activities

A 15-minute walk from the city center and the historic center of Faro (Cidade Velha) where we walk through squares with pedestrian access, streets scented with orange blossoms and terraces that invite you to stop. Churches, Museums and Historic buildings to contemplate and discover. It is here that we get to know the essence of the city.

 

Just a few minutes from the House you will find the Forum Algarve Shopping Center - one of the largest in the region.

 

 The Teatro das Figuras is just a 2-minute walk from the House, as well as the train and bus station, 5 minutes by bike.

 

The Ferry to the famous islands of Farol, Armona, Deserta and Culatra - true paradises to visit - departs a 20-minute walk from Casa da Ria Formosa.
